Dan Cooper, MD, operated on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on Dec. 15, the NFL team said.
Mr. Mahomes had surgery to repair a tear in his left ACL, and he is expected to begin the rehab process immediately.
The quarterback had an MRI Dec. 14 confirming he suffered a torn ACL during that day’s game.
