Dain Allred, MD, performed surgery on Javain Brown, a defender for Real Salt Lake, on April 16.
The procedure was to repair Mr. Brown’s left anterior cruciate ligament, medial and lateral menisci, according to an April 16 news release from the team.
Mr. Brown suffered an isolated ACL tear in his left knee during a training session.
Dr. Allred is the RSL team orthopedic surgeon and an orthopedic surgeon at the Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah.
