Dr. Craig Mintzer to operate on Florida pro soccer star

Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute surgeon Craig Mintzer, MD, will perform surgery on Orlando Pride defender Carrie Lawrence to repair an ACL tear in her left knee.

Dr. Mintzer is the chief medical officer and head orthopedic surgeon for the professional women’s soccer team. 

Ms. Lawrence sustained the injury during a training camp in Port St. Lucie, Fla., according to a Feb. 14 press release.
