Dr. Jackson performed a total knee replacement using the new technology. It is designed to provide physicians with improved system responsiveness and connectivity, and uses proprietary active tracker technology.

Exactech GPS enables surgeons to more precisely align implants, giving patients an overall improved joint function, the report said.
