Dr. Christopher Jordan co-authors young adult mystery book — 4 things to know

Orthopedic surgeon Christopher Jordan, MD, of Oklahoma City-based Jordan Orthopedic Clinic co-authored Mystery of the Old Skull, a young adult mystery book, according to Broadway World.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The book is the first in the Choctaw Kids series of books known as R.E.A.L. Book which will combine mystery and science.

 

2. “Mystery of the Old Skull” was largely influenced by Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books.

 

3. Words throughout the book are bolded and defined in a section titled “Dr. Jordan’s Science Notes,” where Dr. Jordan explains complex terms in understandable and accessible language.

 

4. Co-author Marilyn Ratzlaff is a writer with an extensive background in the publishing industry.
