Dr. Christopher Ahmad performs elbow surgery on New York Yankees’ Carlos Beltran

Christopher Ahmad, MD, performed elbow surgery on New York Yankees outfielder Carlos Beltran, according to a Times Colonist report.

Dr. Ahmad is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Columbia University and an attending orthopedic surgeon at the New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in New York. He is the Yankees team physician. He removed a bone spur and loose pieces from Mr. Beltran’s right elbow, according to the report.
