1. Bryan Emmerson, MD, will join the practice on Aug. 1. He specializes in knee and hip replacement.
2. Dr. Emmerson has been practicing at Sansum Clinic, a nonprofit outpatient clinic in Santa Barbara, since August 2011.
3. He graduated from UC San Diego School of Medicine before completing a residency at the UC San Diego Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He later underwent fellowship training at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Arlington, Va.
