Dr. Wallace performed the procedure at Landmark Hospital of Southwest Florida, a part of Landmark’s two-hospital system. The hospital includes four surgical suites and 50 private patient rooms. In the reverse shoulder arthroplasty procedure, the surgeon fixes a metal ball to the socket and plastic cup to the upper end of the humerus so the deltoid muscle shifts arm position.
Dr. Wallace is a surgeon with Naples-based Seaside Surgery Center and Joint Replacement Institute. He has an interest in shoulder, elbow and knee surgery as well as extensive training in joint reconstruction.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
