Brian Cole, MD, and William Hozack, MD, were named co-chairs of Brixton Biosciences’ scientific advisory board, according to an Oct. 21 news release.
In their roles, they will support the company’s clinical development across multiple therapeutic areas including osteoarthritis and post-surgical pain. They’ll also refine the company’s patient strategies and contribute to the development and expansion of the ReneuRx therapy.
Dr. Cole is the acting chair of orthopedics at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, and Dr. Hozack is the Walter Annenberg Professor of Joint Replacement Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and Rothman Orthopedics in Philadelphia.
