1. Dr. MacKay specializes in hand, microvascular and peripheral nerve surgery.
2. In practice for 10 years, Dr. MacKay is currently an assistant professor and director of hand and microvascular surgery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
3. Dr. MacKay maintains professional membership with the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
4. He graduated from Chicago-based Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine before completing his residency in orthopedic surgery at New York City-based New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases.
5. Dr. MacKay then underwent fellowship training in hand, microvascular and peripheral nerve surgery at The Hand Center of San Antonio and the University of Texas Health Science Center.
