Dr. Andrés E. O’Daly joins Coastal Orthopedics: 5 things to know

The Bradenton, Fla.-based practice Coastal Orthopedics Sports Medicine & Pain Management has added Andrés E. O’Daly, MD, to its physician team.

Here are five things to know about Dr. O’Daly:

 

1. He is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle injuries, including fractures, dislocations and tendon problems.

 

2. He is involved with research on ankle joint fracture care, in conjunction with Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and University of Alabama in Birmingham.

 

3. For the past year, he has been completing a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

 

4. He has practiced at the Centro Medico de Caracas in Venezuela, where he focused on sports medicine and joint reconstruction.

 

5. He earned his medical degree at Central University of Venezuela, where he also completed a residency in orthopedic surgery. He went on to complete a second residency at Johns Hopkins University.
