Cuptimize uses X-ray imaging to spot abnormal motion between a patient’s spine and pelvis, according to a news release. The hip-spine analysis software is designed to prevent abnormal pelvic tilt in total hip replacement patients.

The software will be part of the Velys hip navigation system and is designed to help surgeons assess dislocation risk in hip replacement patients.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
