Deaconess Health System plans $135M expansion, including an orthopedic & neuroscience facility: 3 notes

Deaconess Health System, Evansville, Ind., is planning a $135 million at its Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Ind., which includes an orthopedic and neuroscience facility, according to an Inside Indiana Business report.

Here are three notes:

 

1. The six-story facility will provide comprehensive musculoskeletal and neuroscience services.

 

2. The entire expansion is expected to create 200 healthcare jobs and also includes 100,000 square-foot medical office building and an expanded energy center.

 

3. The facility is slated to be completed in around two years, with the orthopedic and neuroscience facility expected to open in spring 2018.
