Dance/USA Board of Trustees nominates orthopedic surgeon Dr. Nancy Kadel for 3-year term

The board of trustees at Dance/USA, the national service organization for the professional dance field, nominated Nancy Kadel, MD, to serve for a three-year term, reports DanceLand.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Kadel is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine as well as foot and ankle reconstruction at Seattle Spine and Sports Medicine.

2. She is past-president of the Performing Arts Medicine Association and is medical director of the Seattle Dance and Performing Arts Medicine Free Clinic, an organization she cofounded.

3. Dr. Kadel is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society.
