J. Albert Diaz, MD, will join Danbury (Conn.) Orthopedics on June 1, according to Danbury’s Hamlet Hub.

1. A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Diaz is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

2. He has privileges at Danbury Hospital, Danbury Surgical Center and Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgical Center in Danbury.

 

3. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at the Minneapolis Sports Medicine Center.

 

4. While completing his fellowship, he served as assistant team physician to the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Timberwolves.
