Curry Health Network to bring back orthopedic services

Gold Beach, Ore.-based Curry Health Network is adding back orthopedic care for the first time in five years.

The rural health system will provide total hip and knee replacements at Curry General Hospital for the first time, according to a news release from Curry Health Network. 

CHN has partnered with Rural Physicians Group, a physician-led practice, to facilitate the return of orthopedic services. Surgeons Jose Inzunza, MD, and Jerod Hines, MD, will provide orthopedic care at CNH. 

Orthopedic evaluations began Oct. 7, with surgeries and procedures set to start Oct. 21. Total hip and knee replacements are targeted to begin Jan. 6, 2026. 

All orthopedic procedures will be performed at Curry General Hospital in Gold Beach, the release said.
