Cullman Regional Medical Group adds orthopedic surgeon

Orthopedic surgeon Eric Goodrich, DO, has joined Cullman (Ala.) Regional Medical Group, according to an Aug.17 report by The Cullman Tribune

Dr. Goodrich specializes in sports injuries, joint replacement, arthroscopy, ligament and tendon repair, and fracture and general orthopedic care.

He brings civilian and military experience, including a military internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (Va.), flight surgeon training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Fla., and service as senior flight surgeon and medical department head at Naval Air Station Pensacola.

Dr. Goodrich earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa., where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. He later completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Hughston Foundation in Columbus, Ga.

He will begin seeing patients Aug. 20 at Cullman Regional Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.
