Coordinated Health opens urgent care center: 4 points

Allentown, Pa.-based Coordinated Health opened an urgent care center in Bethlehem Township, Pa., according to a Lehigh Valley Live report.

Here are four points:

 

1. The center offers emergency treatments for strains, sprains and broken bones.

 

2. It also connects patients with specialists immediately rather than waiting for referrals.

 

3. The center was in development for around six months and included feedback from schools, employers and other community members.

 

4. Coordinated Health is physician-owned and includes seven general urgent care centers and 17 specialty clinics in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
