Brian Barnett, DO, has opened a nonoperative orthopedic and sports medicine care in Frisco, Colo., according to a July 29 Summit Daily report.

Dr. Barnett, a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, specializes in diagnosing and treating sports injuries, spinal conditions and other musculoskeletal disorders without surgery when appropriate. He told the news outlet the practice emphasizes minimally invasive procedures, rehabilitation and regenerative medicine.

The clinic also features what Dr. Barnett said it is the only office-based fluoroscope between Summit and Eagle counties, allowing image-guided spine and musculoskeletal procedures to be performed in an outpatient setting.

In addition to fluoroscopy, the clinic offers ultrasound-guided procedures, electromyography testing and orthobiologic treatments, including platelet-rich plasma and bone marrow concentrate therapies, the report said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
