Dr. Kremchek was appointed as the team physician in 1996, the same year he founded Beacon, and has served as medical director and chief orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Kremchek will remain an orthopedic consultant for the team, while Andrew Razzano, MD, will take over as team orthopedic physician for the 2023 season.
Dr. Kremchek served the team under seven general managers and three owners, working over 2,200 MLB games and operating on over 700 major and minor league players, according to a March 28 press release.
