Christiana Care Health System participates in Operation Walk USA 2015: 3 points

Wilmington, Del.-based Christiana Care Health System will provide free knee and hip replacements to three local patients as part of Operation Walk USA 2015.

Here are three points:

 

1. Drew Brady, MD, Steven Dellose, MD, and James Rubano, MD, will perform the surgeries at Christiana Care’s Center for Advanced Joint Replacement.

 

2. Operation Walk USA 2015 is a collaborative effort between the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and participating hospitals and health systems.

 

3. Operation Walk USA began in 2010, and to date nearly 600 patients have received free total joint replacements through the program.
