Central Texas Pediatric Orthopedics faces data breach

Austin-based Central Texas Pediatric Orthopedics has notified the Texas Attorney General’s Office of a data breach impacting 90,000 patients, according to a March 7 report from ClassAction.org.

Exposed patient information may include names, dates of birth, government-issued ID numbers and medical and health insurance information. 

Attorneys are currently looking into whether or not a class action lawsuit can be filed against Central Texas.
