The center opened in December 2020. The co-directors will work to enhance orthopedic surgery at the facility, the Los Angeles-based hospital said March 4.
Dr. Penenberg is the hospital’s chief of arthroplasty and director of the hip and knee fellowship training program. Dr. Rajaee is credited with having a strong orthopedic clinical care and research background, with an interest in advancing technology in total joint arthroplasty. He was elected as an American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons health policy fellow in 2020.
