1. Dr. Gehrmann is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the New Jersey Orthopaedic Group in Millburn.
2. He received his medical degree from Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and underwent fellowship training at Pennsylvania Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
3. After his fellowship, Dr. Gehrmann served as assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers and Kixx, a men’s indoor professional soccer team. He served as the chief of orthopedic sports medicine at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School for 10 years where he taught orthopedic residents cutting-edge surgical techniques in arthroscopy and reconstruction.
4. Dr. Gehrmann is on the editorial board of The Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine and the board of directors of the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
5. In his practice, Dr. Gehrmann treats athletes of all ages.
