Berkshire Medical Center to resume outpatient orthopedic services

The Northern Berkshire Campus of Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Mass., has achieved licensing to perform outpatient procedures, according to a report by The Berkshire Eagle.

Three surgeons with the Orthopedic Associates of Northern Berkshire will perform procedures in the newly licensed surgical center three days a week. The center will be staffed by five nurses and four support members.

 

Carol Fairchild, Berkshire Medical Center director of ambulatory surgery, led the renovation and opening of the new orthopedic surgery center, according to the report.
