Beaufort (S.C.) Memorial Hospital welcomed orthopedic surgeon Patrick Pallitto, MD, to its Advanced Orthopedics & Spine Program. He will practice with Boss Orthopaedics, seeing patients in Bluffton, Beaufort and Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Dr. Pallitto specializes in hip and knee replacements, including primary and revision arthroplasty, robotics and the direct anterior approach. He previously practiced at UPMC in Pittsburgh and specialized in adult reconstruction at the University of Pittsburgh, according to an Aug.26 Bluffton Today report.
At Beaufort Memorial, he will use the hospital’s Mako SmartRobotics system for joint replacements, a technology that enables personalized surgical planning and implant placement.
