Mr. Piver has 25 years of experience in healthcare administration, according to a Nov. 14 news release. In his new role he’ll work with stakeholders and orthopedic partners to enhance services at the health system.
Previously he worked as executive director of ambulatory services at Infirmary Health in Mobile, Ala. In that role he helped grow Gulf Orthopaedics and tripled the number of surgeons on staff in a span of 18 months.
“My job is to empower our region’s clinicians to provide high-quality care by closely working with our partners, optimizing models of care and securing the growth of the orthopedic service line,” Mr. Piver said in the release. “At the end of the day, this will benefit the patients who need orthopedic services, and I’m excited to help Ballad Health and our other orthopedic providers in the region achieve that goal.”
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
