Three things to know:
1. Dr. Hagy is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, total joint arthroplasty, knee and ankle cartilage restoration and total knee and hip replacements.
2. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Iowa City-based University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.
3. Prior to joining Avera Orthopedics, Dr. Hagy practiced at Salem-based Virginia Orthopaedic.
