Augmented reality-powered orthopedic system to be launched in US

Pixee Medical’s Knee+ system will be commercially launched in the U.S. more than a year after it debuted in Europe and Australia.

Knee+ is a platform using 3D imaging and augmented reality to assist total knee replacements, according to a March 21 news release. The system is designed for outpatient surgery.

Knee+ was launched in Australia and Europe in January 2021. The first U.S. case was completed in October 2021.
