Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington (N.C.) Medical Center has added robotic partial, total and revision knee replacements, according to a May 3 report from The Dispatch

Robotic knee replacements offer patients smoother recovery, a quicker recovery of functionality, a customized plan to fit each patient’s anatomy and a wide range of implants. 

The 3D digital modeling allows for customized plans for every patient. Orthopedic surgeon James Aitken, DO, will perform robotic knee replacements at Atrium.
