Atrium is the official healthcare provider for all UNC Charlotte teams, providing athletic trainers, sports nutritionists, physical therapists and associated physician and provider coverage.
The partnership became effective June 1, and Atrium will continue to expand the number of physicians and physical therapists serving the UNC population.
Atrium physicians Anthony Martin, MD, and Robert Jones, MD, who is also the Charlotte 49ers’ team physician, will head up the partnership, according to the report.
