Athens (Ga.) Orthopedic Clinic is celebrating 15 years serving patients out of its Madison, Ga., office.
The location is led by M. Shane Smith, MD, who specializes in sports medicine, total joint replacement and shoulder and elbow conditions.
“As I reflect on the past 15 years in Madison, I am incredibly proud of what Athens Orthopedic Clinic has been able to accomplish alongside this vibrant community,” Dr. Smith said in an April 24 news release. “From the very beginning, our goal has been to ensure that residents of Madison/Morgan County have access to the highest quality orthopedic care without having to travel far from home. This anniversary is a moment to celebrate that journey and reaffirm our dedication to continue serving patients across the community.”
The Madison office is one of more than 10 locations the organization operates in Georgia.
Athens Orthopedic Clinic was founded in 1966.
