The award is presented to physicians practicing in Georgia who demonstrate a passion for medicine, selflessness in caring for others and a personal struggle with arthritis.
Dr. Bailey is a sports medicine and foot and ankle specialist with Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics.
Dr. Bailey will become the ninth recipient of the award during an Arthritis Foundation virtual event on Oct. 17.
