William Jay Bryan, MD, received the Medical Honoree Award from the Arthritis Foundation, according to AAOS Now.
Dr. Bryan is an orthopedic surgeon at Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He practiced joint replacement at Texas Medical Center for more than 25 years and was a long-time team physician for the Houston Astros. He completed an arthritis and implant surgery fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery.
He also has a special interest in sports medicine and completed the Knee Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Fellowship at Alfred Hospital in Australia.
