AOSSM names new CEO

Corey Parker was named as the new CEO of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Mr. Parker has more than 20 years of leadership in healthcare, according to a Feb. 19 news release. He’s currently COO of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and before that he was an executive director for Graduate Medical Education.

He will assume his role at the AOSSM on April 6 and succeeds Greg Dummer. Mr. Drummer is retiring and will remain with the company through its 2026 Annual Meeting to support the transition.
