AOA names 8 surgeons to 2017-18 executive committee

The American Orthopaedic Association named 2017-18 executive committee members, according to AAOS Now.

The new executive committee members are:

 

1. Regis J. O’Keefe, MD, PhD, FAOA, president
2. Rick W. Wright, MD, FAOA, first president-elect
3. Christopher D. Harner, MD, FAOA, second president-elect
4. Sanford E. Emery, MD, MBA, FAOA, first past-president
5. Kevin P. Black, MD, FAOA, second past-president
6. Serena S. Hu, MD, FAOA, secretary
7. Alexander J. Ghanayem, MD, FAOA, treasurer
8. Terry R. Light, MD, FAOA, historian

 

The society also named committee chair representatives including Kyle J. Jeray, MD, FAOA; Elizabeth Ames, MD, FAOA; C. McCollister Evarts, MD, FAOA; James R. Ficke, MD, FAOA; David Ruch, MD, FAOA; Paul Anderson, MD, FAOA; and Robert Brophy, MD, FAOA.

 

For the coming year, AOA delegates-at-large are Donald H. Lee, MD, and Scott E. Porter, MD, MBA, FACS, FAOA.
