Alliance Orthopedics adds Dr. Roman Ashmyan

Matawan, N.J.-based Alliance Orthopedics has added Roman Ashmyan, DO, to its orthopedic staff. 

Dr. Ashmyan specializes in shoulder replacement surgery and arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, elbow, and knee, as well as sports medicine, according to a Nov. 11 news release from Alliance Orthopedics. 

He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Hughston Clinic in Phenix City, Ala., and a shoulder and elbow fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.

Dr. Ashmyan is affiliated with the American Shoulder and Elbow Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the release said.
