Construction is slated to begin in spring, and the project is expected to cost about $16 million. The ASC will be on the fifth floor of Grandview Physicians Plaza.

The facility will have six operating rooms, a surgical robot and two procedure rooms.

The project has been in development for several years and is a joint venture between the hospital and several local physicians.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 18–20 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
