Medtech company Advita Ortho’s GPS surgical navigation platform has been utilized in more than 100,000 joint replacement procedures.
After each surgery, the GPS data is uploaded into the company’s AI One system, which analyzes surgical performance and workflow, according to a Feb. 5 news release from Advita Ortho.
David Novak, MD, an orthopedic surgeon of OrthoVirginia, logged the 100,000 milestone GPS case.
The GPS system supports knee, shoulder and ankle arthroplasty, the release said.
