The hospital earned the designation by showing advancement in preoperative care, team delivery and communication, and affordable treatment, as well as an interest in feedback and continuous improvement, according to a March 23 press release.
The hospital’s orthopedic unit has been open since 2014, employing four orthopedic surgeons, one spine surgeon and 75 team members. The unit had a total of 923 orthopedic cases last year.
