AdventHealth has integrated the Velys robotic-assisted knee surgery system at four of its locations in Florida.

AdventHealth Surgery Center Daytona Beach (Fla.), AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach (Fla.), AdventHealth Fish Memorial and AdventHealth Surgery Center Blue Springs in Orange City, Fla., have all added the system, according to a Sept. 9 news release from AdventHealth.

The Velys knee system aids surgeons during procedures by providing real-time imaging and precise alignment, which has led to better patient outcomes.

Surgeons at the four facilities have completed more than 200 procedures using the knee system, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
