Adena Bone & Joint Center adds 4 physicians

Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Health System is expanding its orthopedic services with the addition of four new physicians in the Adena Bone & Joint Center in Hillsboro, Ohio, according to a report from The Times-Gazette.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The new surgeons include:

 

• Spine surgeon James Fleming Jr., MD
• Hand surgeon Roger Wiltfong, MD
• Sports medicine physician Bradley Strauch, MD
• Orthopedic surgeon Brian Cohen, MD

 

2. Dr. Fleming is joining Adena Hillsboro mid-June. He completed his fellowship in spine surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Dr. Wiltfong will join the Adena Hillsboro facility in early June and completed his hand surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hamot in Erie, Pa.

 

3. Both Dr. Strauch and Dr. Cohen have provided care for patients at Adena’s Highland County facility and will now transfer to the Hillsboro location. They will continue to care for their established patients in Highland County while taking on new patients in Hillsboro.

 

4. Adena Bone & Joint Center is adding new imaging services, including onsite MRI, in addition to the four physicians. Adena plans to establish rehabilitation services in Hillsboro as well.
