PatientIQ’s cloud-based platform will integrate with participants’ EHR in the registry, according to a news release. This simplifies the collection and submission of outcomes data.

“By leaning on PatientIQ’s expertise to deploy EHR-integrated outcomes programs, we take the power of our clinical registry to a new tier,” Michael Gardner, MD, chair of the AOS Fracture & Trauma Registry Steering Committee, said in the release. “This new registry offering will improve the often-cumbersome data submission process and gives participants a new option for enrolling.”

The fracture and trauma registry is one of five registries the AAOS uses to track outcomes for orthopedic surgeries.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
