Dr. Halsey is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. He serves as the director of the adult hip and knee reconstruction service. He has been an AAOS member for 19 years and has previously served as chair of the AAOS Council on Advocacy.
The board of specialty societies is comprised of the leaders of 22 North American musculoskeletal specialty societies and it addresses advocacy, continuing medical education, research, residency, fellowship and other mutual issues related to orthopedics.
