Iowa City-based Steindler Orthopedics is becoming one of the first private orthopedic groups in the region to transfer to Epic’s electronic health records system, according to a March 6 report from the Corridor Business Journal.
Epic will help the practice consolidate medical records, offer patients access to the MyChart portal, better collaborate with nearby health systems and provide physicians with analytics insights.
The implementation is expected to launch for patients in June.
