Community Paramedics has established offices at Pikes Peak’s facility as a result of a partnership with orthopedic surgeon Michael Messner, MD.
For residents who call 911 with a minor orthopedic injury, paramedics can offer a telehealth conference or bring the patient to the office to treat on site, saving an emergency room visit, according to the report.
