Dr. Neal ElAttrache operates on Texas Rangers pitcher

Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed shoulder surgery on Josh Sborz, a pitcher for the Texas Rangers on Nov. 13.

The surgery was a debridement procedure on Mr. Sborz’s right shoulder, according to a Nov. 22 news release.

Mr. Sborz will miss at least the first two months of the 2025 MLB season, the team said.

Dr. ElAttrache is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He is also the head team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Rams.
