Think Surgical earns FDA clearance for knee tech

Orthopedic surgical robot developer Think Surgical has earned clearance from the FDA to use its Tmini miniature robotic system alongside the LinkSymphoKnee from German-based Waldemar Link GmbH & Co. under a collaboration agreement between the two companies.

The LinkSymphoKnee has been added to Think Surgical’s proprietary data bank of implant modules for use with the open platform version of the Tmini System, according to a Nov. 18 news release. 

The Link line of orthopedic solutions has been used in Germany for 75 years.
