Lakers player faces setbacks following knee arthroscopy

Orthopedic

Los Angeles Lakers forward Christian Wood has developed soreness in his left knee in preparing for the season, which is expected to complicate his recovery from multiple surgeries, according to a Nov. 12 report from Hoops Rumors.

Mr. Wood had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in March, followed by a second procedure in September and has since faced setbacks in his recovery.

In March, Kristofer Jones, MD, performed the procedure at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, which put Mr. Wood out for the remainder of the 2023 to 2024 NBA season.

Mr. Wood will  be reevaluated in four weeks.
