This is X-Bolt’s flagship U.S. launch, signifying a step forward in applying X-Bolt’s hip-fracture treatments across the U.S., according to an Oct. 10 news release.

The Pro-X1 system offers stronger anchorage and rotational stability in osteoporotic hip-fracture fixation compared to traditional screw-based methods.

The nailing system first earned FDA clearance in 2023, with the surgery in Florida marking the start of its limited commercial release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
